Concrete Steps

In case you were wondering about the concrete entry steps that was done in front of Rey's house last month, here's the scoop.

Some of you know I fabricate concrete countertops and such.  I work with a concrete supplier and they recently came out with an eco friendly concrete mix that contains 90% recycled materials and low cement content.  They asked me to use it so they could have something fabricated that was something other than a slab.

I designed the steps and Rey and I started forming the steps up and pouring. 
We liked the way it turned out and it's another way to dress up our little hill in Castro Valley.  Dash's green bug adds the finishing touch to this pic.
