Suspicious Activity or Bad Salesman?

Hi Neighbors:

Tonight (2/7/12) I came home from dinner around 8:45pm and there was a "salesman" waiting for me at the front door.  He immediately started a show and tell about a product that would clean my dirty tires.  I was suspicious, told him I wasn't interested, and he walked down the hill.

At best, he may indeed be a real salesman (with very bad judgment).  At worst, he did (or would have done) something illegal.  I didn't notice anything wrong with my house, so I don't know what his intentions were.  Not to cry wolf, but it is a bit creepy to come home and see someone at your front door on a dark damp evening.

Just wanted to share that, so others can be alert.
