Oakland Zoo taking donations of fallen trees & branches for elephants

Do you have fallen trees or branches from the recent storm? The Oakland Zoo may be able to use them for the elephants to enjoy! For details on how to donate, and the list of varieties that can be used as well as those that are toxic, visit the Oakland Zoo site.

2010 EBRPD Trails Challenge Registration Open!

East Bay Regional Parks District is once again organizing a Trails Challenge for 2010 sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, and free registration is now open for this 17th annual program.
