San Francisco AIA Home Tour Features Gorgeous Moderns

Crow Canyon construction delays this Thursday

From the Oakland Tribune: 03/30/2011 Crow Canyon Road can expect delays from late morning to the early afternoon ay. meda County Public Works Agency will be replacing the centerline yellow dots on the road from San Simeon just east of Greenridge Road --to the mile two marker in Castro Valley.During this work, motorists may face 30-minute delays between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists are advised to reduce speed.

Doris McKim's accident

For those who haven't yet heard, our neighbor Doris McKim, who hosts the annual Christmas party, had a car accident this past week here on Greenridge. The brakes on her car failed and she chose to run into some trees and power pole down near the bottom of the hill instead of hitting one of the houses; this was actually the cause of the power failure we experienced on Wednesday. Doris has suffered some bruising, a laceration that required stitches and a broken rib but is reportedly in good…
