Oakland Zoo "Zoo Lights" evenings through January 3

It's ok that we're not near Disneyland - you can enjoy magical sparkling wonderland of lights at the Oakland Zoo just up the road during their annual "Zoo Lights" evenings now through January 3. Although the real animals are generally all sleeping, over 100k lights in animal & holiday shapes, holiday music and activities including Santa's Village & the "Snowball Express" train ride make this a great treat for the whole family.
